Which Tunze Power Heads

Ok, I'm contemplating replacing my MP40s with Tunzes for the simple reason that I'm getting tired of hearing them ramp up and down. They aren't LOUD, but it bothers me...

the tank is a 120 display, and I have an APEX to control the Tunzes with...

do I still need a TUNZE controller?

which pumps should I look for ?

The Tunze equivalent of the MP40 regarding flow would be the 6105, and I think your Apex can control them with an appropriate module.

I did go with the Apex LITE.. which will require a VDM module.. i think VDM..
Now to weigh the cost to see if one MP40w and one MP40es would take care of most of it.

AH.. he means the knock offs...

I donno... not knocking anyone's equipment, but I have a hard time getting cheap knock offs for something so vital to my tank...

its like saying an octopus is the same as a bubble king because they are both skimmers....

Edit: it also wouldn't solve the MP40 sound issues that my wife hates
