Everything in the skimmer section of my sump is getting a coating of what looks like white/clear slime. I have been dosing vodka for quite a few months and never noticed this before. I recently upgraded my skimmer and started with a kalk/vinegar drip also. I would think the skimmer I have would prevent a bacteria outbreak? Is it possible to have too little bioload for vodka dosing?
