Looks like Lymphocystis. Viral, usually harmless unless it's on the mouth and prevents the fish from eating. Probably from stress, and it goes away when the stress goes away.

Or if you have a cleaner shrimp, it may have picked it off. If it comes back, time to look at what might be stressing the clown.
