I recently bought some rock and coral from someone, and one of the rocks was completely covered in full white zoas? Are they just super bleached??? I've never seen anything like this before! They are opening up just fine.

That's what I figured. How long do you think it'll take for em to regain their color?

Not sure it really depends on nutients and proper lighting.  Give them some time and they should be ok.  If they start to melt away then you may want to be concerned :)

Just a hint when posting make sure when you get ready to submit your post you click on the "visual" tab in the right hand corner of your post.  Then the links wont be displayed.   :)

I had that experience before with one of the live rock i got. It took about a week to get them coloration back. I am sure how reliant species are has a lot to do with how quickly those getting back their coloration.
Mine came back as green palys, those are like weed, never die out.

I am curious what color those palys will be once they are recovered. Let us know and Good luck!
