who makes a good nano tank??

What size are you looking for? Any particular footprint you are interested in?
Innovative Marine has some cool footprinted nano tanks, JBJ has their new Cubey and rimless series (and the regular hooded series).
The lights that you are getting with these tanks aren't going to be what most are accustomed to as far as the newer leds or halide lights. Innovative's leds are pretty weak in terms growing corals. JBJ has a series of led lighted tanks but they are somewhat expensive for what you can buy a tank and light separate.

I have a JBJ RL 30 and paired it with a Maxspect Razor nano led. It is a really cool tank. t
The Innovative Marine Nuvo series are a lot like the JBJ RL series. Built in sump, media chambers, dual returns, places to put skimmer, etc. I really enjoy the Nuvo 16 and 24 series. Really cool rectangular nano tanks.

+1 on the Inovative tanks... Their bigger tanks are set up to run their skimmer and reactors. It makes a VERY clean setup. The reactor and skimmer appear to work very well. Not your normal POS skimmer. The JBJ and Oceanic cubes are also proven to work well. They are just not nice in appearance.

IM's tanks are very nice... the Nuvo16 was what I was planning on getting when I stood up my first reef tank back in 2011, but I shy'd away due to initial reports of poor build quality. Supposedly fixed nowadays but I'd still be leery buying online where inventories may still have early run models stocked.
The nice thing about the IM's is that they're carried by several sponsor stores... it's easy to inspect before purchase and ensure you're getting a good one. Bonus in that you may also be able to cut a deal to get one without the IM lights (floor model, trade-in, etc). Ask nicely and see what happens!

I have the PicO III Shallow and really like it. Ordered the low iron glass - super clear.
Highly recommend.

Well, gee. I'd restricted my advice to what you can find locally.
If you've got the money & are looking to get the tank during one of Chris' "open for business" periods then hands down you can't go wrong on a PicO! I'm not aware of any other who does that quality of custom work w/ starfire glass in that size class.

Currently running an IM 16 as freshwater. It was previously Saltwater, but the open back caused some salt creep issues with the missus. The lighting was not very impressive for coral. My Zoas and euphyllia both opened up and spread out quite nicely, but anything even a little bit more complicated, such as Montipora, simply wouldn't live. I understand that you can opt out of the standard lights (wish I had waited a year before purchase just for those, lol) and that being the case, I'd def go with it. IMO, they look a lot nicer than the JBJ's
