This past Thursday I did my usual water change/algae war and went about my business... So I thought!!! Apparently I either did not plug my filter back in, or accidentally pulled the plug out of the power strip some how. The only ill effect I've seen is that the algae has grown back extra fast!
Corals and fish are fine. The reason I hadn't noticed until today is because a have a HUGE tunze that creates most of the current on the tank. I added some fish today, during acclimation I turned off the tunze and noticed there was absoloutly NO FLOW.
The filter left unplugged is an eheim 2215 that I have packed full of bio media, a little bit of pelleted GFO, a little rox 0.8, and some filter floss.
Should I be overly concerned about a significant die off of aerobic bacteria? I may be wrong, but I assume the anaerobes will be fine.
I guess I have been testing the Berlin style!
