Why can't I post a thread in the for sale fourm?

just a fyi i didnt come here to just sale tanks.. i came here bc i found this site on google and didnt know the for sale sec was there untill after i signed up. so if you dont mind take your rudeness to another thread.. thanks and have a nice day

Not being rude. Simply stating what I see.

To answer your question you need to either archive 30 post or become a paying member.

As far as I'm concerned you have not participated in post padding of any kind. When your post count or membership kicks in, you have every right anyone else has to post anything you want for sale.

Some of our members like to take out their frustration on our new members instead of politely informing them of the rules. What they don't understand apparently is, without new members there will be no Atlanta Reef Club.

Members in question, use the report feature please.... No one here deserves the firing squad by the vigilante mob squad.

Absolutely. Your posts have been "real"... the "post padders" in question are the people who rack up 30 posts in two hours by posting things like "thanks", "nice tank", or "LOL".

You have been exactly what we want our new users to be... people who participate in discussions, either to learn about the hobby or help those who are trying to learn.

There is not a rule about how long you have to take to get those 30 posts... only that they are genuine. Don't sweat it.
