Why Don't my Conch and Snails Self-Right?

I find them in the mornings when the lights come on and the are often upside down. I was under the impression that they could and would flip themselves over, why aren't they? It seems like a recent thing, I never found them like that before a month or so ago.
They are Tiger Conchs and Red Stripe Trochus?

Normally they should be able to flip themselves up but I've had some nassarius snails do that right before they died...
Are they getting enough to eat? I assumed that mine died of starvation but I honest don't know

I still don't have a kit, but I had it tested about a week ago and it was ~1200

test? If not you might want to get one and test your magnesium levels as if high they can cause problems with snails
