I have never really done a build thread but I figure it will be good for my own documentation.

I am setting up a BioCube 14 for my office tank.

So far the tank is stock with the exception of the light

I have decided to go with a Steve's LED regular 14k kit slightly modified.

I have one Double Driver running
8 Royal blue LEDs : http://shop.stevesleds.com/Philips-Luxeon-ES-ROYAL-BLUE-3-Watt-LEDs-Luxeon-ES-Royal-Blue.htm">http://shop.stevesleds.com/Philips-Luxeon-ES-ROYAL-BLUE-3-Watt-LEDs-Luxeon-ES-Royal-Blue.htm</a>

2 Cool Blue LEDs: [IMG]http://shop.stevesleds.com/Philips-Luxeon-ES-True-Cool-BLUE-3-Watt-LEDs-Luxeon-ES-cool-blue.htm">http://shop.stevesleds.com/Philips-Luxeon-ES-True-Cool-BLUE-3-Watt-LEDs-Luxeon-ES-cool-blue.htm</a>

2 Ultra UV : [IMG]http://shop.stevesleds.com/3-Watt-Hyper-Violet-LED-20-Clearance-Discontinued-TVDC20.htm">http://shop.stevesleds.com/3-Watt-Hyper-Violet-LED-20-Clearance-Discontinued-TVDC20.htm</a>

I have one single driver running:
5 White 4k LEDs: [IMG]http://shop.stevesleds.com/Philips-Luxeon-ES-Warm-WHITE-3-Watt-LEDs-4000K-Luxeon-ES-Neutral-White-4000K.htm">http://shop.stevesleds.com/Philips-Luxeon-ES-Warm-WHITE-3-Watt-LEDs-4000K-Luxeon-ES-Neutral-White-4000K.htm</a>

2 Cyan LEDs: [IMG]http://shop.stevesleds.com/Philips-Luxeon-ES-Cyan-3-Watt-LEDs-Luxeon-ES-Cyan.htm">http://shop.stevesleds.com/Philips-Luxeon-ES-Cyan-3-Watt-LEDs-Luxeon-ES-Cyan.htm</a>

I did have one single driver running the UV LEDs but I did not pay attention to the minimum voltage and blew that one up. I will be adding it back in the future but the UV LEDs I ordered are discontinued and he has not gotten the new ones in yet. Once new UVs come in I will order 3 of them and a new driver.

I am also running a Coralux controller w/ temp probe : [IMG]http://www.Coralux.net">www.Coralux.net</a>

I love the controller. I am now working out how to add a function so that I can step up a pwm fan with the water temp.

I have also added a WP 10 for wave/circulation.

The tank has bee up for about 3 days. Pretty short cycle. I used live sand, live rock from frag tank, water from existing tank.

The biggest problem I am having right now is the temp control. Thus the function for the fan.

I'll add more including coral list as I add.

So far I have:
Golden mushroom
God of War Zoa.
Rainbow Favia.
Small frag deep water table

So we are a couple months in and this is what it looks like. Worked out many of the bugs and I am able to keep things alive with the LEDs. I would not say I have growth yet.

Looking good. No issues with the wp-10 blowing sand around?

Gotcha, I had issues with the wp-25 in smaller tanks (bc29) so I'm hoping the wp-10 I just ordered will be nice to have for a nano.

No fish?

Not yet. Gonna move the tank to my office and get used to it for a bit. Then I'll look to add things that require constant feeding.

WP-10 should be ok... Could not turn the WP-25 down? Or the size of the power head was to big for your taste?
