Hi I have an anemone and a mandarin goby living peacefully so far (a few days) but I was just reading horror stories and am very attached to the mandarin! Should I return the anenome??????

The mandarin should steer clear of it , chances are he is hip to the sting already they learn fast.
The only time I personally witnessed one of my nems kill something it was when it was new to the tank and swam rite in to it.

The problem is when fish sleep. While awake, they generally know better and avoid anemones, however it's when they "sleep" that it becomes an issue. Fish sometimes drift at night and can get caught up in the tentacle of an anemone. Once they do....they are food.

Personally....I'd dump the condy and keep the mandarin. Speaking of food...I hope you are supplying the tank with pods to feed the mandarin.

I've always heard that mandarins have a toxic slime coat , and I've personally tried to feed a Dead Mandarin to a bubble tip and he wouldn't eat it...lol
