Ok, so i ght this lobster tank from a really nice guy (lilrob) and my plan is to tie it into my system and use it to chill everything. here is the Q, if i run a 1200gph pump to feed this thing will i successfully be abe to chill my 250g system and still use the lobster tank as a frag tank? will the lobster tank be too cold or will the water comeing in from the main system keep the temp close enough in both tanks? keep in mind i am going to run a single 400w halide over the lob tank and place the eggcrate pretty close to the surface. i am maintaining a temp range of 80 to 82.3 degrees right now so all i want is to keep everything around 80! i personally think it will work but i wanna see what you think. worst case i will not use the tank as a frag tank and just as a chiller. thanks for reading, and for your input! i will post pics after i get this thing setup as promised to rob!
