ive been here for a few months now, got to know some of you and decided its time to start a build thread
i started with a 125 gallon and all was great when a money situation slaped me in the face BAM

i kinda recouped some so id really like to stay in the hobby and get to know you guys a little better
what better way than a build thread right. so here go's

i just bought a 40 breeder from ATA its a marineland and john is making it reef ready for me. i tried the HOB overflow on the 125 and had 0 issues but i want it flawless this time
i am going to build my own stand and canopy.ive already got a 36" t5 ho fixture,10 gallon tank for sump, and a skimmer that will out run every thing
dnwb reef octopus 150 "2010" model

i dont have any pics yet BUT I PROMISE THERE WILL BE LOTS

HERE WE GO

Is that cyano in pic 8? Cool that if it is only on one rock. Take it out and wash it off. Aquascaping looks good. Let the back glass get funky so that linkia will have something to feed on

more pics in a few days
i have got to pick up the wood to finish and make it look like a cabinet

Looks good! If you can fit it, Petco is having their $1/gallon sale, and I'd spring for a 20g. The extra room is worth the extra $10 over a standard 10g tank. That skimmer will be great on that setup. Looking forward to more pics!
