It has to be my Tubb's Blues zoas!

I've had the original plug on my frag rack for probably close to a year and have gone from 3 heads to 6. The rest of my zoos have flourished, but not this guy.

By the time I have enough to really show up in the tank, I'll probably be able to buy a colony for what I payed for the frag! My neon candy canes are a close second, btw...I've gotten 2 new heads in the same time frame.

Don't know about the Tubb's but my Neon Candy Cane grows like a weed. :-) Started with three heads about 4-5 months ago, cut about 3 heads off for a friend and still have about 8-9 now. LOL

+1 on the slow Tubbs and My mohawks grow like weeds.
With my darth Mauls grew as fast : )

I went from 4 polyps to 10 in a month with tubbs

Plus one on garf.

My slowest is rainbow nasuta.

ya.. +1 tubbs blue def a slow grower :/
gonna have to try relocating them like suggested

a beautiful chalice i picked up. had it 2 months and not one centimeter of growth

I also got tubbs from Feb swap meet. They started off slow in my 120 about 1/3 from bottom. I moved them to the from about 4 inches from the bottom, but still under almost direct light and i have at least 11 heads now. Very beautiful too.

Before I sold my tubbs, those things grew like wild fire. The weird thing was that when I would sell them, not many did well in other people's tanks.

You want to talk about a slow coral? I have two words for you. Garf Bonsai.

+1 Garf, closely followed by my Scrolls-Turbinaria sp.

My zoa kill themselves alot. Like recently a while bunch of high ends does in the main tank for no apparent reason. But growing back again. Sometimes I wonder if my tank tries to give me a heart attack.

I'll move mine this afternoon then. It's been sitting on my frag rack which is near the top of the tank in the corner. Other zoas have done well there.

Edit: Speaking of zoa problems. I have one set that is infested with feather dusters! I pulled out the rock and put it in a bowl of water, trying to pick each one off with tweasers. They're so bad that the zoas won't even open sometimes.
