Worms?

Hello Refers!I moved some rock to get a frag that fell behind them when out came a WORM,it was flat and long,about 6 inches.It came all the way out of the rocks so I removed the varmint!Then I seen another just the other day!Is this a problem I need to address?I can always count on yall.TY Chris

Sounds like bristleworms... they are nothing to worry about. Just don't grab them with your bare fingers. They help eat detritus and are a part of your CUC that I dare say you'll have forever. Are they kind of flesh-colored to pink, and have rows of bristly "legs" on the sides kind of like a millipede?

If you have a ton of them, it is a clue that points to overfeeding. There used to be a mindset that they ate fish and/or corals, but that was pretty much shown to be hooey long ago, from what I've read.
