I've had (3) 8'x4' low iron tempered glass sheets laying around for a while.
They are ½ or ⅝ thick.(can't remeber)
Could I build a tank with them or are they to thin?
Probably a plywood tank

If you use it at those dimensions for 4’ height it’s way too thin. You would have to cut them down to make smaller tanks.

Most 4 ft tanks are 3/4 i think

Yeah there 4 foot by 8 foot.
Could I double them up and glue them together with expoy or something.

It would work but good luck cutting them.

I doubt you can glue pieces that big together without getting air bubbles and just ruining nice pieces of glass. Probably better to sell those pieces to just buy the appropriate sheets that fits your needs.
