Hey guys I ran out of reef glue and found this in my garage plumbers adhesive and sealant says it’s water proof but more used for sealing pipes was curious if I should go for it but just wanted to get some opinions first

Yup and it was always reef safe just not fish safe when it got older

Not the plumbers, you want the household goop.

Love the stuff, been using it for over a decade on reefs. Its the only thing I found that will actually seal and bond acrylic to glass.

EDIT: oh you want to use it for frags? yeah dont use it for frags.

If it's not NSF rated... NO.

For frag plugs or rock work you can go to a hobby shop and get cyanoacrylate. Some may have gel but most if not all will have some a little thinner they call it gap filling.
BSI Insta-Cure or ZAP-A-Gap.

You can even get Gorilla Super Glue Gel at Home Depot or Gel super glue from Dollar stores.
