Anyone in the club can ID this wrasse? I assume it is a male.

it has blue bar on its tail and dosal fin.

Sorry, the 1st pic is upside down and the 2nd one is side ways. I am trying to find some girlfriends for him, but need to ID him first:)
 
You got me researching, what is the length? The blue on the fins may just be starting. He seems pretty dull in color making me wonder if he is in change or just getting used to his surroundings.
 
That is the only thing I can find as well. I hope for you that is. Spectacular as a supermale.

Where did you get him?
 
I'd say almost 3 inches. it is a dude, right? I have searched quite a bit of wrasse on internet, the tail looks like pylei the most.

I got him from Rit.

Do wrasse like to be in a family of 1 male and 2 females?
 
Barbara, the pic is the mirror image of what I got. from what I read, they are not THAT mean. I am fine with no other red wrasses, however, can I have a leopard wrasse in the same tank?
