I have a twin spot wrasse that is about 3 and a half to 4 inches long. He has always been really active and everything but for some reason today he is not swimming around that much. He looks perfect but just does not seam to have the get up and go like he always has had. He is in my 65 gallon tank (yes I know everywhere says 180 or larger) but is that the reason? Is he to big for my tank now? Or is he going through the change?

The best place to start is to check all your parameters and make sure they're in range. How is his diet? Wrasses need a lot of protein, if you don't have a tank full of pods they need to be fed several times a day. Most wrasses need a 4" sand bed to sleep in and a lot of live rock to pick pods off of.:D

I have a lot of pods but not that much sand. He has been happy for a while just did this today. Everything is perfect.

They need a 3-4 inch sand bed and a plethora of live foods. They also can reach 2' long at maturity. No way is a 60 gallon tank suitable for a fish like this long term.

I knew that he was going to get to big for this tank in the long run when I got him. I thought it would take a good bit of time to get to big for this tank. I have had him for about 2 or 3 months
