Thanks Dan...I may be stupid, in the second picture it’s like dripping from the area where there are a lot more.  I know I have a bunch of pineapple sponges.  I recently (last weekend) moved the tank....replaced the sand bed, and this piece of rock was in an area with low flow and my female clown always stayed in that area.  The “pest” is under a colony of zoas.

just sponges. they will eventually go away on their own..

then probably come back... and vanish again
