Hello All,

I am new to the forums and this is my first post.

I have some pulsing xenia that Ive had in my tank for about 6 months and it has been thriving, yesterday I added some new live rock and now it seems like the xenia is dying, all of my other corals seem to be doing fine.

Parameters
Ammonia - undetectable
nitrates- undetectable
nitrites - undetectable
Salinity- 1.026
PH 8.1-8.2
Temp - 78

Any ideas?

they are shriveled to almost nothing now and are turning brown. Should I remove them from the tank? i dont want them to affect any of my other corals.

Any advice would be appreciated

thanks for your response.

They were moved but they stayed about the same height as they originally were in the tank. They are not close to any other corals

I also came home today to find that my mandarin has passed :( idk whats going on, my water params are fine, the only thing that is wrong is my PH is a little low, about 7.9.... I dont want to lose the tank

Your tank is too clean. Let your nitrates build to 5-10 and it will perk back up.
