Xwave power head pics and video

Well I did a test fill on my tank today and once it was almost full . I decided to test out the xwave pump on the tank. I was realy impressed my the pump. It gave me water movement from one side of the tank to the other. My tank is 96" L x 30" W x 25" H. here are s few pics of the pump and a video of the top of my tank with the pump running.

do these work on the same concept as Vortechs? looks really cool.
 
but the motor is outside it seems???

I guess th better question is (and it seems from the video like you can), but with two of these could you create the wave action that you get from a vortech??

It does resemble a Tunze Stream.
