Yearly changing of the bulbs: Need advice

It has been about 14 months since I last changed the bulbs out in my reef tank. I have six power compacts - two 460nm, and four 10,000K. All six need to be replaced. What is the best methodology for switching the bulbs? I know it is not wise to do all bulbs at once because of the stress it would put on the animals. Do I do one a week and cut back the timing cycle?

I don't think it really cares too much when it comes to PC's. Change them all and if you;re concerned reduce your light cycle. I typically tell people 4hrs for 3-4 days. then 1 hr more every 2 days till you're at where you normally are.

when I was using pc's, I just changed them all at once and didn;t adjust the photoperiod or anything.
