Yellow Watchmen Gobie Pair

Hey again everyone!! I have some questions about my mated pair of yellow watchmen gobies. When i come home from work I usually see both of them chillin in the mouth of thier dedicated cave. When i feed them though usually only one of them comes out to grab food is this normal? Both seem fine I'm just worried about the less dominant fish. I really dont see that one come out to feed but once in a blue moon. I feed them brine shrimp and some other frozen food plus pellets. Any info on the behavior of mated pairs would be much appreciated. Also occasionally i see pods swiming around and walking about the sand. I know thats a part of thier diet as well. the female taking the food back to the male or is she just eating it?

Typically the larger dominant fish is usually the female from my experience. Could be wrong though.
