Any recommendations of a good basement contractor is appreciated. Remember that I am on the south side of Atlanta so that takes some people out of the equation.

If you want a great contractor I have a guy for you. He lives on the north side but I'm sure he would travel down for a large enough project. He does lots of work for my company. He did my basement too. I will stake my reputation on him. Send me a PM if you would like his info.

Still looking for the right person for the build of the basement. Using a GC has some advantages and disadvantages. Would love to find the right guy that is a hands on guy that does a majority of the work himself insted of just subbing it out and just marking it up. Thought I had my perfect guy but he has to have surgery so that takes him out for awhile. If you know if this perfect person please let me know.

Tim,
FYI...the tank we talked about is 36" wide as in front to rear. The depth should be 29" - 32" depending on what kind of sand bed you want. Hope this helps with figuring out the lighting issue.

That is what I thought as well...maybe I was not clear on the way I explained it. We are on the same page.
