This might be a dumb topic but im curious. Has anyone seen the commercial for this Zero Water? It's a pitcher water filter with five layers of filtration. It comes with a TDS meter to show u how pure the water is after its been filtered. I was reading the box at Target this morning and says its the same as RODI water and better because it doesn't involve any plumbing. What do u guys think about using water purified by one of these in our tanks?

That's what I was wondering.. How long the filter would last and how much a replacement filter would cost.

I would think the biggest draw back is how long would it take to create enough water to do a PWC. Those are gravity fed right? Think an RO/DI under pressure is slow........

You would be better off with one of these. I'm sure that gallon per gallon one of these would be cheaper than the drinking water gizmo. Of course, RODI is going to be the cheapest.
