I have a small zoa, maybe 20 polyps, very healthy. I have it wedged into a small crevice where it fits perfectly, and the polyps have formed a nice dome. But I do not think there is room for new polyps to grow from the sides due to the walls of the crevice. Will this prevent expansion, or will they eventually grow up above the existing polyps and expand over the sides? Should I try to raise to colony?

Like a weed they will. They have no boundries norproblem growing in odd directions.

they'll grow. I find my zoas growing 10 feet away from the mother colony!

10' eh? What is that, like a 2000 gallon tank?

Basically tebriel. His system is over 800 gallons. His display is 700 gallons. :confused2:

20 polyps in that big of a system is like a grain of sand in the ocean. Nice, love to see it one day!

Skriz's tank is big enough to loose any small frag he puts in there.

Oh yeah, there should be plenty of pics of the tank. I know there are a few in the large tank forum.
