Zoas no longer seen in the hobby

There are some Zoas that seem to have just been erased from the hobby, such as the OG Krakatoas, Snowy Owls, OG spellcasters etc.

What are some other Zoas you guys haven’t seen in a while?

Back before everything had a stupid name there were these steel blue zoas from the carribean that would pop up every so often. I havent seen then in forever, but they are probably on some site under a dumb name.

Haven’t seen basic people eaters or hornets a lot lately.

I’m still trying to find regular bright green nuclear greens, and bright purple, purple deaths lol

Yeah, it seems like with all of the “ultra toxic master” strands, the original, more natural strands have been muted. I think it somewhat takes away from the subtle beauty of it. Not to say the “designer” ones aren’t beautiful, they just have less of a natural appeal

Jay has a large collection of zoas and actively seeks rare and old strains. I have bought from him a couple of times. I learned the hard way though that the reason some of these strains aren't common any more is their propensity to melt. I think OG Krakatoas are just gone, possibly never to be seen again. I tried seeking some out about a year ago. Jay is also on R2R.
