So I got a zoa frag from a fellow member today they have been in the tank for like 8 hours and they are still closed. Is this normal? My other corals I got from the same person are opening up. The others are green star polyps and clove polyps.

Yes, sometimes they take a little while.

Yea just give it a couple days they will open my half hasn't opened yet since the fragging

I would let them stay in one spot for atleast about a week just to get adjusted to the new tank and your lights although as you saw I kept them pretty high in the tank

Yea the gsp opened up and the cloves did too so I just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong

It was my fault I was a little rougher on them than the others when I fragged them they should be good in a couple days though
