Well this is still my main tank, just a year ago. Boy it changed! Sadly the cup coral and zoa's didn't make my learning curve but the frogspawn is doing great and the candy cane is still around (although of my 3 candy canes it is the only one that didn't really grow).

My first tank was about 6 years ago, I have no idea where that SD card is. It was a 29g biocube

Unfortunately, there were no digital camera when I set up my first SW tank. Many of the the things we now take for granted weren't available either! Back in the "good old days" (late 70's) our filtration consisted of reverse flow undergravel filters with crushed coral and, if you could afford one, an in tank, air stone driven Sander Protein skimmer. The first HOB wet/dry wouldn't even be available for another couple of years and they used trays of crushed coral as the filter media (I actually still have one of these in my "trove" of stuff).

I don't have any photos of it... but there are some buried in a thread way back I'd bet.
Undrilled 75g, which later became a sump and last I saw it, it was on its third "tour of duty" under LFS frag tanks.

my first tank is still in use, but here is a pic from 4 years ago.
