Whats happnin guys and gals. Ive been cruising the site here for the past few days and decided to post a ? I have a couple old school glass 48" 55g's with the center brace in the middle. Im thinking about upgrading the lights. Pc's are running at the moment. Should I use two MH lights per tank to get around the "brace shadow" or just load em up with t-5's and hope its not that noticable? Open to all suggestions. Ive been in the salt game for a few yrs now just never expanded beyond xenias, zoos, and low light stuff. Kinda wish I knew about this site yrs ago.
1st time poster/ lighting ideas?

With T5's, the shadow won't be noticeable anywhere but maybe 1-2" from the top. I have T5's on my 75 with the center brace, and my clam is pretty much smack dab in the middle of the tank, so if there were shadows down deep, I imagine it wouldn't be happy, but it is.
