2-Part Dosing Question

I'm about to start dosing in my tank. I was wondering if it matters were it enters the sump? I've heard somewhere fast moving is best, is that correct?

+1 plus if you install a pH probe in the return chamber and one upstream in your sump you can monitor your Alk dosing at night with your Apex.
