Is that sump going on the 20gallon? In planning on drilling a 20gallon long with a 10gallo. Sup to have as a anemone/frag tank.

Yea it is, 12 dollar tank and 4 bucks in glass and I'm in buisness. From my calc it'll hold 7 ish gallons of water. I set the baffel up for a sca 302 skimmer, it's 9" of water in the main area

I'll definatly reach out to the people you mentioned, I figgured there had to be some other people in the area but never knew who.

their cleveland shop doesnt do any salt but the clarkesville shop does.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. Realized my old jager heater it leaking current, ive got a neotherm in the mail, should be here tomorrow. I hope growth picks up with this fixed. The heater comes on rarely during the day, thankfully it flipped on during feeding and I felt it through a little cut on my hand.

There some popping in the sock, it'll end up with salt creep, so I'm going to work on that later

I'm really diggin the return, should be around 275 GPH and my flow really looks good. I've got 1000 from the wp10, 425 from the korilina and 275 from the return. 1700 GPH of goodness.

I've been blowing off the rocks and the bottom every little while to try and clean up some detritus now that I have to sock to catch it. I've got 200 micron socks, but I don't have a real grasp on how small that is, can anyone explain?

Looks good!

Since you don't have any bio load you can use 25 micron sock and polish that water really clear.

Lol, thanks man. I doubt the one clown goby puta out much waste, Im going to let it run for a while and see how these 200s do, but I'll prob get another few at diff sizes before too long.

Pretty big update, had my MH ballast go out on me, bulb was workin at half steam and ended up browning out most everything and whiping out my SPS, no bueno. I've got a few little pieces of my poop brown (purple) cap alive, but all my other SPS have bit the dust.

LPS are looking good, heavy feeding has helped, tho my orange plate is 90% gone. Im hoping that itll turn into a baby plate factory.

Here are some pictures, two new lobos, a new trachy, few duncans and a frag rack filling up with pure sexiness

I was out of town for work, I came home and didnt notice a thing different other than things were looking like crap. I thought it must be a water chemistry issue so I id several big changes and tested everything I could think of. I already had a new light coming from a fellow reefer, went from a 150 MH pendent to a 150 MH + 2 24watt T-5. I put it over the tank and WOW, my old light was putting out NOTHING! I guess it must have blown when I was out of town, the power flickered during a storm while I was gone, and I didnt see the difference when I came home. Thankfully things look much better, but it definitely claimed a few victims.

well at least you got the problem resolved. if youre ever up north in habersham county let me know and ill hook you up with a couple frags. i dont have anything fancy but its definitely better than having a tank full of skeletons lol.

LOL, ive been staying after work every day for the past week building the last few things we need. Tomorrows my last day of work and then im on wedding 24 a day untill saturday. After that, ive already declared Im taking the time to build my new stand and sump to upgrade to a 24"x24"x12" rimless

Major rescape happened last night. I have a RBTA coming from a good friend and I wanted to isolate the spendy stuff on an island so I can let it roam alittle without any risk. I also wanted to get rid of some of the rock, there was just TOO MUCH rock in there. I got some frags mounted as well.

Forgive the blue Iphone photos, Im going to try again tomorrow with the D60.

After the rescape I dont feel near as compelled to change to a new tank. I wanted more floor space, and now I've got plenty.
