24 Gal Cube SPS nano reef tank

I think the biggest benefit of using gyre pump is the “broad yet gentle” of flow that can be creates within “given length”. Nano tanks are so short, it’s hard to mimic any good flow. Two popular one ( nero3 and mp10) are more narrow and direct. Gyre is gentle enough for me to have sand bed currently running 2 of them at Random 50% intense + 2 of them reverse random 50% intense.
 
I cleaned up my sump area this weekend.

After: Ive cleaned up the emergency drain line. Modified return line and made manifold added to the return for future use.

Had to recalibrate the Alkatronic (reading 9.4) seeing this result.

I’ve refilled the reagent few days ago and didn’t calibrate it. After calibration its reading 8.45.
