25G build Dilemma?

So I have had to downsize temporarily so that I can do my dream build. Now I have a 24g nano with 150w MH which is great, for the most part ( just some heat issues). I just got a 25g with eclipse hood for my better half and she wants the mixed reef type I have as well. Its 18" to the sand bed. The hood has the led stunner strips one white one blue. I have thought about taking that hood off and doing a rapid led build or buy another MH. Im just worried about heat and power bill lol. Any suggestions or personal insight would help.

personally, i swapped back to mh/t5 from led and im much happier. u could run a sunpod 70w halide, or a nova 20" t5

I have decided to remove the eclipse hood. Still having some trouble deciding on lighting for this tank t5 or MH. she wants a clam so I have to have some strong lighting.

i love looking at those clams ...beautiful but i will just stare at them at stores (LOL)....they do need those strong lights...it was great meeting you and i hope you can come by next time you visit Lawrencville Jennifer
