This weekend I built a simple stand for a 25g frag tank for ARC member gmpolan (Geoffrey), and wanted to share the model and final build pictures with you guys. This was a fun build, and quick -- it only took one Saturday including the custom cabinet door. Geoff will be painting it himself, so this is where my work stopped, but hopefully Geoff will post a finished picture when it's all done and ready for the tank.

That's a super nice stand. Mine didn't turn out nearly as nice :-/

Very nicely done. When I move and have my own garage I hope I can do builds and upgrade my tank!

Geoff asked me to go ahead and paint the stand, which I did -- here's the final results. This is two coats of Valspar Undercoater (primer) and three coats of Valspar Satin Black Latex Enamel. Everything was sprayed with an HVLP spray gun, give or take a few hard-to-reach areas that I took care of with a brush.

Nice work. Spray makes all the difference with paint!
