Tried all of this. Still turns the wrong way. Guess its time for a new one.

Contact Hydor, they know this problem exist. perhaps they can send you some replacement parts, or discount you a new unit.

They have a 2 year warranty. Contact Hydor and they'll either send you a replacement part that corrects the problem, or take it to the vendor you bought it from and they should exchange it.

Good luck, I am still (3 weeks later) waiting on my hydor flo replacement that was supposedly shipped out.
