400w MH over 29 gallon?! No heat issues? I'm going with a 250w over my 30 gallon shallow and I thought I was maxing out.

Tank looks amazing, keep up the good work!

Thanks guys

No heat issues. The reflector I have is designed so that the light can be raised up higher

Love the color great job. I'm new to the hobby hoping mine can come along the way

Thanks, I think I need some more blue now though. I was messing around in the tank when I nudged the maxima clam and tore it's byssal strands. Over the next few weeks it would fall down off the rocks (move itself) and I'd pick it back up, it's health declined and then it got pinched mantle disease. I tried freshwater dipping it, but it didn't recover.

I'll probably just stick with derasa clams from now on.

Was a sad day in reeferville! Anyway welcome to the hobby, name's Josh and I'm glad you discovered us!
