I am thinking of converting my 30g hex into a seahorse tank, or just a small SW fish tank, and I know PC bulbs will not be strong enough and they do not make t-5's shorter than 24" so I have to go MH. So for a tank of this small size but large depth, would kind of wattage should I be looking into?
I know nothing of MH, so if anyone has any links to some reading material or FAQs so I don't bore you with my endless questions on the subject.
Otherwise, are there any benefits from double ended vs single ended?
I know I want to go 20k for sure 'cause that blue is so purdy, but what kind of temperature problems will I run into?
