One of the tanks i have is a 30g fowlr. It has alot of good rock, some nice fish (clarkii clown, six line wrasse, ect.) as well as a great cleanup crew. My decision is whether i should keep the 30g or break it down and move the rock, fish, and inverts to the 75g. The 75g is nice but would be much more enjoyable with more good live rock and fish.

The reason its come down to this decision is my canister filter on the 30g has been acting up alot lately by just randomly shutting off and i can either get a new form of filtration but money is tight right now.

If i do away with he 30g i will still have the 12g reef and the improved 75g so its not like i wont have a tank still.

Please let me know your opinion?!? :)

Is it a 30 long, 30 high or 30 Cube? A 30 long makes a nice tank. 30 cubes are very popular right now......

Might want to consolidate now, before you feel the pinch of trying to keep 3 systems going, if funds are tight....

Its a 30 high. if it were a cube that would make the decision a bit harder.

I will decide in the next few days thanks for your thoughts

I'm looking for a 30 breeder

30 long x 18 tall x 12 deep (front to back) is a regular 30 long..... Now if it were 12 tall and 18 front to back, that would be an awesome tank

30 high does look pretty cool as a fuge so i think i have come to decision to move the rock and fish to the 75g and turn the 30 into the sump under the 75.

Do it! You'll have plenty of room under the tank for an out of sump skimmer.
Also think of leaving the fuge display part visable to enjoy 24/7 or opposite the main display lights if you run it that way
