I am building a 30 cube now and it will be mostly sps. I have thought about doing a black box also. Keep me informed .

So far I'm extremely pleased with the light. The color ratio is exactly what I was looking for. The price point can't be beat. the only thing left is growth, beings I've only had the unit two weeks I'll have to get back to ya'll on that.

How high is the bottom of the light off the water?

Would that fit inside a 28 JBJ Cube? I would gut the insides of the hood and screw this fixture into the hood depending whether or not it would fix. Also I would be able to pretty keep anything I would want correct? Thanks!

Yes it would fit, db366 currently has it retrofitted in his BioCubes hood.

I was able to fit it in a 29 biocube hood with some DIY. If you search I'm sure you will find my pictures. So far I have had it since September and have kept sorties and lps fine I just put my first sps in about two weeks ago and it is doing fine so far. I'm not too sure about clams as I have read that leds and clams do not mix well long term.

I have clams and SPS in mine does fine. I also put mine in the hood
