37 gal Waterbox build

Hey everyone just finished my aqua scaping on my 37 gal. Decided on the floating reef even though it has been done a few times. I will keep this thread updated as I move along the build. Still getting equipment so it’s a work in progress.

It is all mounted on a piece of plexi that is siliconed to the back of the tank.

That's really cool. I didn't think silicon would be strong enough against glass to hold something like this up. Are you going to leave the bottom completely empty? I think the negative space it creates would be very visually appealing.

I’m going to do 1.5” sand and leave it empty I believe. I might end up doing one piece of LR on the bottom. It’s about 12lbs of rock on the shelf. I also purchased some plexi rods if for some reason I have to support it. The plexi was bent at a 60degree angle for some room for weight
