Can't believe I didn't see those unknown ones when I was at @Xemreef's 🤦‍♂️ Those are amazing!

EDIT: It hit me last night, and then I checked my notes this morning to be sure — not only did I see these, I actually bought some 🥴

Bad news first, the polyp of strat imploded on itself. Not sure why, since the other frag I picked up with it was right next to it on a frag rack and has new heads open already. I had a feeling I flew too close to the sun too soon, but for this to be the only thing I’ve lost in months I’m not beating myself up too much. If anyone has any idea why a zoa would do this, I’d love to know.

In better news, I was able to get 2 polyps of fairy fart zoas from @tdam. They are my favorites but I lost my colony during my divorce, and had been looking to get some again. Unfortunately, he’s quite a bit out of the way for me so I wasn’t sure when I’d be able to make it over that way to pick them up.

Unbeknownst to me, @shanepike had arranged to buy the 2 frags of fairy farts Tuesday, and we had already arranged to meet Wednesday to trade a King Kong Yuma for some baby stomatella he has breeding. He was kind enough to pick up the 2 polyps of fairy farts for me while he was out that way, and brought them with the stomatellas.

For his kindness and effort of picking up the fairy farts for me, I brought this frag of blue chalice

And was pleasantly surprised with 6 baby stomatellas, after only asking for 4

3 went into this tank that already has 1 giant one in it, while the other 3 went into my bedroom 15g. They are super cute, but also very small so they got lost in this tank right away. I was, able to find some in my bedroom tank though. This is a size comparison of one with one of my sexy shrimp

Once again, the kindness and the generosity of Atlanta Reef Club members helps improve my tanks in one way or another. This hobby really does have some great people in it.

I won a $50 gift card to @Dinkins Aquatic Gardens in a giveaway on R2R last week, that I honestly don’t even remember entering into 🤷‍♂️, and the order came in yesterday morning! Most of the pods went into this tank. The bottom 1/5 or so of each went into my bedroom 15g cube.

One of my unknown named discos went on quite the “walk” recently and left behind a few babies along the way. It was refusing to let go of the first one though

Newest additions to the tank, after yesterday’s frag swap. Thanks again to the club for putting it together, big fish for having us, and everyone I traded with, sold to, or bought from 💙

A few shots from around the tank while my daughter naps.

How many different mushrooms can you find?P5070066.jpeg

I sold the mother of these at the event last weekend. Luckily, she had left 7 babies behind for me which is why I was willing to sell herP5070064.jpeg

These 2 look interesting next to each other

And this acro just keeps on stealing the show, even though it’s still so littleP5070086.jpeg

How much room did the all in once compartment in the back take up of your aquascape ?
Ultimately not a lot. Still plenty of room for a nice scape. I only built a very basic one on one side though, since I was using the other side to grow out mushrooms and other frags.

Unfortunately, the tank started crashing 2 days before I left for PCB for a few days to celebrate my birthday. I moved what I could into my bedroom 15g coral wise to save what I could. Most of the coral that I didn’t pull out, is dead. A few larger pieces that wouldn’t fit in my bedroom tank are still hanging on, but barely..

I still haven’t had time to figure out what’s really wrong with the tank. I got back from my trip Friday and did a 15g water change (thanks to @scuba steve), and did another 10g a few days ago. I worked Sat and Sunday, then picked up my 4 yr old from her mother Sunday and have been dealing with over 72 hours of diarrhea for her. I haven’t gotten more than an hour or so of sleep since Saturday at this point, and she hasn’t gotten more than 2. Once this bug finishes running its course I’ll start testing and trying to figure out what caused the crash.

Even if I figure it out and get things back stable, I’m not certain the future of this tank at this point since my wonderful cheating ex-wife is making us go back to court again and trying to take away even more time with my daughter away from me. I may have to sell some things to cover attorney fees. As much as I love this hobby, I can’t lose even more time with my little girl and the hobby is going to have to go onto the back burners for a bit.

At least everything that I was able to move into my bedroom tank is doing great. Even things that I didn’t move over until after the trip have started bouncing back and are recovering.

Sorry you’re going through this brother. Whenever you decide to come back let us all know. The Atlanta reef community is awesome and I’m sure we can help get you some frags to get you started again.
