Yeah. I have a bare bottom tank but dang it took a lot longer to stabilize the nutrients than a sanded bottom tank. But this is purely anecdotal since it is my only experience. I have to say, it is way easier to clean tho with a vacuum.

3 spot Damsels?? Oh man. Those are mean AF. My first 60 cube I had to almost tear the tank apart to get them out cause I couldn’t add anything afterwards. That would terrorize everything.

Yes I did lots of epoxy mix and fiberglass rods
