Alright, so its been a long time since I posted here, but I thought seeing as I transfered tanks it was a good time to stop in and say Hello. I will post pictures this week. Im sorry, I was bad and didn't take build pictures. I have had this tank over a year and a half and never set it up seeing as I bought a house shortly after I bought the tank.
I have to admit I had been super lazy about taking care of the 55. I did water changes every month or so, GHA took over the tank and killed alot of my favorite coral. This got me motivated to make the tank look decent again. This is a non RR tank, so It took a little creativity to work out. By that I mean I took my sump out of my 55 and modified it to form an L shape. I decided that I would do a combination of closed loop and power heads. I have two MJ 1200 running through PVC with 3 lock line nozzles each down each of the straight sides of the tank under the sand. I plan to upgrade to a real pump and put my SCWD on these two runs. I have some of the previous gen Korallias providing the rest of the flow. I know I need more flow in this sucker. I love the look of the corner tank and I think my fish are much happier as they all have new places to hide and sleep. Ok, I will put down my beer and quit rambling now. Pics to come soon!
