2nd loss for my tank in a little over 2 years. Probably not that bad but I've always aimed for better. She/he/it was about 18 months old to me. Ate fine and acted fine the day before. My daughter noticed it missing and said something to me when I got home. I couldn't find any trace of it. It was in a biocube 29 with the hood on and a fish saver so I assume either something killed it while it slept or it died of some other natural cause.
Might be a blessing in disguise as people say they can turn nasty but mine was always a model citizen. In any case, no replacing this one as 5 fish was a little much for the cube anyway. Still sucks though. It had been a birthday present for my wife since she loved that fish when she saw one at Pure Reef. I named it "Nice Wrasse" in honor of my wife. :lol2:
My day was brightened by the appearance of my 2 year old niece walking through the front door, running over to the tank, and saying "Look, it's Nemo! It's Nemo!"
