I've had a 6 Line Waresse for about 6 months. I added a Orchard Dotty Back and two Blacker Ice about 3 months ago. The Orchard Dotty stays in a little hiding area of rock and if it comes out the 6 Line chases it back in the rock. I'm afraid the Dotty isn't getting enough food. I drop food so that it falls into the hole in the rock and sometimes I see it get some. Is there anything else I can or should do?
Thanks

6 lines are just mean...mine does the same with all the fish in my tank...even the tangs. Just make sure you're feeding enough. I've heard posting pics of the same fish on the tank sometimes helps with aggression...might be worth a try.

Interesting idea, I will give it a try. Thanks
I feed 2 to three times a day, not tons but enough for everyone to get a couple helpings. The 6 line doesn't bother my Goby or clowns, I don't get it. It's like he just hates the Dottyback!

get RID of the six line! they are aggressive....research personalities, albeit they are imperfect.

I should have held off and put him last. I did research but evidently not enough. I have 3 tanks running, I'm wondering if putting him in a tank alone until my new larger tank is cycled, then add him into the new tank last would help?

it could.....?

6-lines are buggers... And if you try to catch it, I wish you luck and LOTS of patience.

When all else fails, a fondue fork & a rubber band make a great hawaiian sling ;-) (I keed - I keed!)

Jeez,
What happened to patience being the key to success :confused2:
I taped a BIG picture of the Orchard on the side if the tank. The 6 line is avoiding that side, lol...this may help!
I have read to put him in the tank last too, so I will do that when my new tank is cycled.:shades:
