I did 2 small mods to the sump so far. I'm using a herbie overflow and the pvc drain pipes in the sump were a bit long and had to be cut down for the herbie to work correctly.
I also added some egg create in the last chamber were the water flows from the skimmer area. I'm going to be having algae in the skimmer area and I didn't want it going into the pump section.
one of my apex probes didn't fit in the probe holder either. The other 3 did, but the temp was larger on the end. I rigged up a piece of plastic to handle that one probe.
