I built the plywood ponds and stretched the pond liners. The liners were extra thick and very difficult to put in place. I would heat them up in the sun then bring inside and by the time I had them in place it was stiff again.

I think urajoey (diyfishkeeper) used some sort of paint type pond armor substance that he painted on his plywood. Looked like it worked pretty good. He used it for his big tank he keeps a bunch of discus and stingrays in.
