Uhhhhh Yeah....what he said :lol2:

Now was it one batch of offspring, or does he have them breeding like that? I think my first call would be to ORA to see what they offered, of course after giving a few pairs to local breeders.

look freaky to me... I like my clowns "traditional".. not mis-striped or otherwise "rare"

I rather like the plain, ordinary, not mutated ones too.

I saw every kind of ORA clown over the weekend - while the "Platinum" ones are a genetic curiosity, I don't find them very attractive - but to each his own.

I don't find the McCullough's very appealing either - but at least they seem to be true to their natural appearance - I just don't see the appeal for $5-6K per pair. Rare, yes - that justifies the cost I guess, but if I were to spend that kind of dough I'd want something that had a huge "wow" factor - even to the casual observer.

To each his/her own I guess.

Albinism is amelanism.

There are one and the same.

Nice find. Could be a good low light addition. We'll have to name the first one Powder

I thought they were albino too. I was just copying and pasting from a post in that thread.

John Lauth spoke about these at the first meeting of the year.

Or was it Jake Adams? One of the two anyway!

This whole topic baffles me, kinda. People should buy what moves them. To me, "wow factor" is kinda moot. I think yellow tangs are one of THE most "wow factor"ish fish out there, but I wouldnt have one in my tank, because they do absolutely nothing for me. Then again, I wouldnt spend $200, no less $2000 (no less $20,000) that many people will spend on jewelry, shoes, cars, furniture, tvs, blah, blah, blah.
