If you don't believe it will pull through, it may be best to dispose of it to prevent it from causing death to other corals/fish.
I only say that hoping to be wrong in the next few weeks. its mangled.. I'm still surprised its alive being in the power head for that long before I woke up. Maybe it will be ok maybe it won't. I figure it was dead when I found it yesterday but it was still squirming.
Just a quick update:
I just got home from class to find the nem has disappeared off the powerhead. It has relocated itself to a quiet little spot in the return spout (lack of a better term) and it fully attached to the rock.. plus to even try to remove him would mean removing a huge piece i rather not do... Is this a good or should I try to persuade him to detatch from the rock to be put in a lil container. Thanks guys.
And that powerhead that caused all this head ache is off for the time being. Currently have a mag7 for return and a MJ1200 on the opposite side providing flow also.

Do you have a sponge on the MJ? They can be just as nasty to a nem as a Tunze. Two choices with nems.....Cover all powerheads with sponges.....or wait for a nem to get snagged in one. If the nem stays put, you might be ok without sponges for a long time...but like you found out...one morning wake up to a mess.

Yea, don't remind me bout that...
But the ultimate plan is to go to one powerhead (mp40) with the sponge cover... this way i get more unique flow and more flow overall with one powerhead.. and its easier to watch one over two powerheads.. besides.. i really want it.. just dont have $420 plus tax.... tags and title lol
I bet, actually with the one MJ still goin there is still a good amount of flow.. grant it, its straight rather that the Tunze which is sort of random.
